Pre-requisite: 200-hour RYT or equivalent.

These two classes are part of a Chair Yoga Certificate Program (CYCP). Those enrolled in CYCP do not need to enroll in these separately, as you will be automatically enrolled in these classes.

Chair Yoga Training-1 (CY-1) will teach yoga teachers how to design a chair yoga class with properly placed counter poses and rest poses.

Chair Yoga Training-2 (CY-2) will be offered in the Summer session (CY-1 will be a pre-requisite for CY-2.) CY-2 will teach yoga teachers how to keep students safe who have conditions such a osteoporosis, joint issues, joint replacements, are in a wheelchair, and more.
